Dalian University of Technology CSC Scholarship

The Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC) at Dalian University of Technology (DUT) is a fully funded program for international

students pursuing master’s or PhD programs.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

Be non-Chinese citizens in good health.
Meet the following educational and age criteria: Master’s applicants: Hold a bachelor’s degree and be under 35 years old. PhD applicants: Hold a master’s degree and be under 40 years old.
For Chinese-taught programs: Submit HSK certificates (minimum HSK 4 for sciences and HSK 5 for humanities).
For English-taught programs: Submit TOEFL (80+) or IELTS (5.5+) scores unless English is the applicant’s native language or the language of instruction in prior studies.
Secure an Acceptance Letter from a DUT supervisor.

Scholarship Overview

Duration: Master’s programs: 3 years, PhD programs: 4 years
Language of Instruction: Chinese (with some programs offered in English).

Tuition Fees

Bachelor’s Programs: 19,500–25,500 CNY/year
Master’s Programs: 23,000–29,500 CNY/year
Doctoral Programs: 31,000–40,000 CNY/year

CSC Application Form (completed online).
Acceptance Letter from DUT supervisor.
Passport copy (valid for over 6 months).
6 photos (3cm × 4cm).
Highest degree certificate and transcripts (notarized in English/Chinese).
Research/Study Plan (800+ words in English/Chinese).
Two Recommendation Letters (from professors or associate professors).
Physical Examination Form and Blood Test Report (original and in English).
Certificate of No Criminal Record.

Application Procedure

Step 1: Apply on the CSC website (CSC Portal) under Type B using Agency Number 10141.
Step 2: Complete an application on DUT’s website (DUT International Students Portal).
Step 3: Email all application materials (in ZIP format) to dutsice@dlut.edu.cn. Use the subject format: DUT Application Number + Passport Last Name + Passport First Name.
