What is the Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS) Program?
The OGS Program provides financial support to graduate students at participating Ontario institutions. Established to promote academic excellence, the program is jointly funded by the Province of Ontario (two-thirds) and the participating institution (one-third). Scholarships are awarded based on academic merit, ensuring that talented scholars can pursue their academic goals without financial constraints.

Scholarship Benefits

- $10,000 for 2 consecutive study terms
- $15,000 for 3 consecutive study terms
Each award covers a minimum of 2 academic terms (21 to 52 weeks) and a maximum of 2 years for master’s students or 4 years for doctoral students. There is a lifetime limit of 6 academic years for all students.
