Financial Coverage
The RIKEN RIH Summer Internship is fully funded, covering:
- Round-trip airfare to and from Japan
- Accommodation for the duration of the internship
- Daily living allowance to support expenses
Internship Duration & Options
The program offers two participation options:
- Long Stay Program (Type A): July 24 – September 19, 2025 (8 Weeks)
- Short Stay Program (Type B): August 21 – September 19, 2025 (4 Weeks)
At the end of the internship, all participants will be required to present their research findings on September 12, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria
- Open to international and Japanese students.
- Applicants must be enrolled undergraduate or graduate students at the time of application and during the internship period.
- Students from universities collaborating with GRP (e.g., Kyoto University, Doshisha University, NAIST) are not eligible.
- No IELTS or application fee required.
