- Architecture and Sustainable Design (ASD) – focusing on sustainable architectural and urban solutions to meet the present and future needs of buildings and cities
- Engineering Product Development (EPD) – focusing on innovative technology-intensive products that span multiple disciplines
- Engineering Systems and Design (ESD) – focusing on large-scale complex systems whose performance and function depend on their technology and socio-economic context
- Information Systems Technology and Design (ISTD) – focusing on information systems that interact with the physical world, humans, and machines
- Science and Math – focusing on wide-ranging, interdisciplinary research that is grounded in Science and Math fundamentals and with practical applications
- Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (HASS) – focusing on understanding social and technological transformations through empowering lenses of humanities and social sciences
Types of Scholarship SUTD
1. SUTD President Graduate Fellowship (Ph.D.)
- Open to all nationalities
- Full tuition fees
- Monthly stipend of:
- S$3,500 (Singapore Citizens)
- S$3,200 (Singapore Permanent Residents)
- S$3,000 (International Students)
- CPF contribution (Singapore Citizens only)
- Annual conference funding support
- Opportunities for sponsored overseas research, attachments, and industry internships.
2. SUTD Ph.D. Fellowship
- Open to all nationalities
- Full tuition fees
- Monthly stipend of:
- S$2,700, increased to $3,200 after passing the Qualifying Exam (Singapore Citizens)
- S$2,200, increased to $2,700 after passing the Qualifying Exam (Singapore Permanent Residents)
- S$2,000, increased to $2,500 after passing the Qualifying Exam (International Students)
- CPF contribution (Singapore Citizens only)
SUTD manages the following scholarship for a full-time Ph.D. Program applicants: Economic Development Board (EDB) Industrial Postgraduate Programme (IPP)
- Open to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents
- Full tuition fees
- Monthly salary & CPF contribution (remuneration determined by the company)
