Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Ambizione Postdoc Grant, applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Hold a Doctorate (Ph.D.) or have completed their medical studies (Staatsexamen or equivalent exam).
- Submit applications no later than four years after completing the Ph.D. (the thesis defense date is the reference point).
- For medical graduates:
- Must have completed clinical work for at least three years after graduation.
- Specialist certification by the FMH is an advantage.
- Can apply up to nine years after completing the medical exam.
- Must have at least 12 months of research experience after earning their Ph.D. or medical license.
